Topical calcineurin inhibitors

Class Summary

Topical tacrolimus inhibits calcineurin, which is related to stimulation by IL-2 of T-cells. As such, it is an anti-inflammatory agent.

Tacrolimus ointment 0.1% or 0.03% (Protopic)
