Prognosis

  • The prognosis for erythema annulare centrifugum (EAC) is excellent, except when associated with an underlying malignancy and other systemic disease.

Medicolegal Pitfalls

  • Failure to make the diagnosis of erythema annulare centrifugum (EAC) is a pitfall. Underlying diseases should be ruled out.
