Diagnostic Considerations

Conditions to consider in the differential diagnosis of enteropathic arthropathies include the following:

  • Synovitis-acne-pustulosis-hyperostosis osteomyelitis (SAPHO) syndrome
  • Lyme disease
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Sarcoidosis
  • Septic arthritis
