Medication Summary

The treatment of zygomatic complex fractures is primarily surgical. Supportive treatment may include analgesics and nasal decongestants. Data regarding the efficacy and safety of perioperative intravenous corticosteroids are sparse and inconclusive, with some studies suggesting increased rates of delayed wound healing while others found no adverse effects.
