  • Parapharyngeal abscess
  • Tracheitis
  • Ludwig angina
  • Dental infection
  • Cervical adenitis
  • Neoplasms (leukemia, lymphoma)
  • Foreign body aspiration
  • Aneurysm of internal carotid artery
