  • Psychogenic vomiting

  • Klüver-Bucy–like syndromes

  • Kleine-Levin syndrome

  • Major depressive disorder

  • Anorexia, binge-eating and purging type

  • Hypothalamic brain tumor

  • Epileptic equivalent seizures

  • Medications - Lithium, tricyclic antidepressants, neuroleptics, insulin, opiates

  • Increased intracranial pressure

  • CNS tumors

  • Anxiety disorder

  • Substance abuse

  • Cluster B personality disorder

  • Binge eating disorder
